Here’s a Black Women Owned Brand to Support For Juneteenth

Juneteenth short for June nineteenth also known as Jubilee Day, Black Independence Day, Freedom Day, Emancipation Day, or Liberation Day is the longest running holiday dedicated to the celebration of the enslaved gaining freedom. Dedicated to this day and our ever-powerful blackness, Nappy Head Club’s is dropping limited edition Juneteenth version of their best selling “Always Black, Never Sorry” tee.

This collection focuses on being unapologetically black through stylish designs. Nappy Head Club’s attention to inclusivity and gender fluidity with consistent dedication to fostering OUR community is something that will have your attention and your coins!

Nappy Head Club is a black owned lifestyle brand co-founded by sisters Rachel Danielle and Rikki Richelle who spent majority of their lives bonding over fashion and shooting their own editorials.

The two founders use fashion to tell the story of the black experience while also creating space for underserved and under celebrated black designers in the fashion community. A portion of all proceeds from their Juneteenth release will be donated to the Equal Justice Initiative that continues to push for freedom of all marginalized people. Don’t miss the drop!
